Sean Deakin
Sean Deakin is a cinematographer & director based out of Toronto. A photographer since before he can remember, Sean spent much of his youth experimenting in different creative forms - painting, drama, music & more before coming back to his true passion - creating impactful images.
Always a tinkerer and nerd at heart, film and its technical underbelly fascinated Sean as he learned the ins and outs of filmmaking. His enthusiasm for shooting has lead him to direct video and photographic projects for corporate work, short films, music videos, documentaries and more. Sean has had the opportunity to travel extensively for work, shooting commercials, telling meaningful stories, and elevating brands all over the world. He’s proud to have worked with brands such as DJI, G Adventures, MLSE, Home Depot, StackAdapt, Spin Master, Intuit, Campbell’s, Sobey’s and more.
While he can be found almost anywhere in the GTA depending on the time, his studio is based in the West end of Toronto. His hobbies include writing music, reading, writing, drawing, and debating.
